Christmas Memories

waking up Christmas morning to find our dream toys set up in the living room, ready for us to play with them. The us was my 2 sisters & me. It was a magical morning…the smell of my doll’s hair…holding each new toy 1 by 1…excitement I’ve not experienced since those magical Christmas mornings.

After playing with our new toys all morning,it was off to Grandma’s for a bountiful lunch & more presents. I’ll always remember the smell of all that delicious food & how delicious it was.

I’m all grown up now, with my own family,& we don’t much celebrate Christmas, other than presents & a special meal. There’s no Christmas tree…nothing magical, other than the memories of childhood…my dream toys, our family Christmas tree, delicious foods, egg nog, those delightful Christmas shows on tv,Santa, love, play, laughter,& lots of imagination.

I forgot about the glass Christmas trees..that was a Christmas blast from the Christmas past…I think you should put up a small tree with lights….no ornaments needed…bring back a little of the magic to your home….only you can make it happen….Merry Christmas…much joy….kat
