Fist size Portions (Weight Loss)

I read it & never forgot it…our belly is the size of our fist. Make a fist & look at it. That’s the size of your belly. That’s the amount of food your belly needs for each meal. Hold your fist on your belly & look at it. Through overeating,gorging,& stuffing we stretch our belly,making room for more food & that contributes to weight gain. If you choose a fist size portion of a favorite food,take time to eat & enjoy it with awareness…putting your spoon,or fork,or sandwich down between bites…you should find you are satisfied at the end of your meal. Keep eating this way…your belly will eventually return to its normal,healthy size & you will lose weight.
